Abstract:
Research suggests a strong relationship between class attendance in college and college grades. Surprisingly, class attendance appears to be a better predictor of college grades than scores on standardized admissions tests, study habits, and study skills. Participants will explore their own experiences regarding the impact of class attendance on student success, and a variety of approaches to taking attendance, even in large classes.
