Yvonne Hefner, Ed.D.
Dr. Hefner has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix since 2011. She currently chairs doctoral committees, mentoring students from the inception of their concept paper to the final approval of their dissertation. Dr. Hefner graduated with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College. She earned an Education Specialist degree from Valdosta State University in Instructional Technology. She holds a doctorate degree in Teaching in Learning from Liberty University. She has also received certification in Special Education and Educational Leadership and is reading endorsed. Dr. Hefner was a special educator for 17 years before teaching in higher education. Dr. Hefner lives in North Georgia with her family.
