William Stokes, DBA

A native of Cleveland, OH, I’ve lived in Anchorage, AK for 30 years. I enjoy fishing, and camping during the long Alaskan summer days. I enjoy traveling to warm sunny places during the long Alaskan winter. Professionally, I’ve been a self-employed Financial Consultant for several years. My practice specializes in two areas; investment management and financial planning for high net worth individuals, small businesses, and small non-profits. Prior to starting the consulting practice I spent ten years working for a financial services firm as a stock broker and as an investment analyst. I also spent over 15 years as a middle manager in the oil industry, managing environmental services for remote Alaska oilfields. I earned my Bachelors degree in management from the University of Alaska, an MBA from Alaska Pacific University, and I earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I also have the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. I have been a University of Phoenix faculty since 2005.
