Vontricie Roberson, EdD

Greetings! My name is Dr. Vontricie Roberson. I am a graduate of Albany State University and received my bachelor of science in Criminal Justice. Immediately, after graduation I had a change of heart and wanted to become a teacher. I pursed my teaching certification in Early Childhood Education. I worked in the public school district for over ten years. I worked in several mentoring programs such as, Even Start and 21st Century after school programs. I received my masters from Troy State University in Early Childhood Education and received my doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University. Over the years, I wanted to challenge myself and decided to teach college students. Indeed, this has been a challenging as well as a great experience for me. Therefore, I have worked at the University of Phoenix since 2008 teaching several communication classes. Also, the experience gives me the opportunity to provide essential classroom practices in the curriculum and in a classroom environment.
