Two cultures, Eastern and West, and two continents, Europe and America, define the context of my educational and career background. During my studies, I have strived to be an ambicultural leaner: I earned my MBA from ESCEM University in Paris, France in Business Administration with profile in Marketing, and I am a graduated Ph.D. in Organization and Management with an emphasis in Management Education from Capella University.
My areas of research include management competencies, leadership, and technology in higher education. I have published several research papers in European academic journals including Sport Science Journal, Studies on Military History, and Focus, Promotional and Informative Journal. Recently, I published an article about establishing a sports management program at a college in Review of Social Studies, Law and Psychology.
In my professional career, I have tried to bridge research and teaching, and sometimes conflicting activities alongside my academic research: teaching of all kinds, professional and community service, and managerial practices. The contrasting and opposing experiences shaped and cleared my thinking when I faced tough educational and professional challenges.
