Timothy Malone, PhD
EDUCATION The Union Institute-graduated in 2000 PhD with a program emphasis on Relational Marketing Dissertation title: Value Integrated Systems and Applications The University of Redlands-graduated in 1983 Masters in Management University of Nebraska at Omaha- graduated in 1976 Bachelor of Science in Business Administration PROFESSIONAL Malone Resource Group- established in 1992. Marketing consultant focusing on helping clients improve marketing strategies and create more perceived value from customers. I have conducted several sales training sessions ranging from two hours to two days. I have held positions titled: Regional Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, National Sales and Marketing Manager, Director of Sales, and Vice President of Development. I have worked for small manufacturing companies, and large consumer services companies. Consulting and teaching help me stay current with trends in marketing. ACADEMIC I began teaching in 1992 as an instructor of marketing for a junior college. In 1993 I began to teach for a four year university in San Diego. It was through my teaching experiences at that school that I decided to earn a PhD. I found that I love to teach, help students, and be engaged in the collaborative process. Students respond very well to my ability to help them relate marketing theories and concepts to the real world. I very much enjoy working with students from UOP and the organization as a whole. My research interests include qualitative methodology and customer value and marketing.
