I am Terri Edwards and I have been with UOPX since 1999. I have a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and a Master’s degree in Teaching. I have earned two separate National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certifications. I facilitate online Social Science courses and I am a Doctoral Chair in the School of Advanced Studies. I left a professorship in the College of Education at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, to teach ninth grade Algebra I and Special Education classes. I enjoy mentoring doctoral students at UOPX, as well as, serving on doc committees. I get to read two or three dissertations a week concerning education or psychology.
My research interests are teachers’ perceptions and student teacher dispositions. My hobbies include educational activities such as being President of Delta Kappa Gamma and having workshops for teachers in my area of the state.
