Stuart Gold, PhD
Hello, I'm online with you from sunny Florida. I have taught numerous management and information systems management courses online and onsite in both the United States and the Caribbean at all levels of study from undergraduate to doctoral. I have served in a variety of academic roles that include: Doctoral and Doctoral Residency Mentoring, Lead Faculty, Area Chairperson and Course Developer for several large US universities. I am a founding member of the Directed Research Project Advisory Board for MBA capstone students at a large US regionally accredited institution. I regularly, write for academic peer reviewed journals and books. I have also served as a Peer Reviewer for a number of articles and as a course developer/architect. To date I have over 35 Peer Reviewed publications / book chapters. I continue to actively lecture and present on an ongoing basis at academic conferences and symposiums. I also mentor doctoral students by both chairing dissertations and participating on dissertation committees. My research interests include: Technology acceptance, virtual learning communities / organizations, business and information technology alignment, online education and leadership. During a 30-year career in industry I held a number of senior-level corporate positions, including VP/Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Systems and Planning.. Earlier in my career I spent a few years in Marketing and even a couple as an Engineer while I worked my way thru Graduate School. I have a broad background in a number of industries, including health care, personal products, and industrial products. This is one reason for my broad range of research interests.
