Stephanie Holden, PHD, CHES, R, QM, MR
Veteran medical imaging clinician, educator and certified health education specialist with earned doctorate in Health Studies. Diverse experiences in teaching, higher education administration, healthcare, research and mathematical sciences. With a graduate degree in mathematics that included thesis in statistics; broad consultation, resource and support experiences in organizational research, performance improvement, service excellence and patient-centered projects. Health education areas of expertise include population health, minority and rural health, health disparities, patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes, and access/utilization of preventive health services. In 2011 - 2012, conducted primary research dissertation that examined the use of endoscopy screening tests for colorectal cancer among African American Medicare beneficiaries in the northwest region of Louisiana. In 2015, poster presentation of the outcomes presented at the Health Disparities conference in New Orleans. October 2016 continuing education presentation entitled, Population Health: Improving Patient Outcomes. In 2017, presentations focused on improvement in healthcare delivery and higher education.
