Shanel Harris, MBA, EdD

Dr. Shanel Harris is a passionate academic leader with over 10 years of experience in higher education administration. Dr. Harris’ professional background includes being an Academic Dean, teaching online and on-ground, program development, and research. Dr. Harris enjoys the regulatory and compliance component of higher education administration because of the relationship between student learning outcomes and the academic integrity of the institution. Dr. Harris is an advocate for higher education, believing that higher education is the gateway to economic empowerment. Dr. Harris’ research interest includes minority academic and economic achievement, education equity and access, teacher effectiveness, social justice, motivation, and education policy.
