I have served as a senior quick decision disability case examiner for Disability Determination Services for Social Security. I have also served as a Child Protective Service Worker and a Child Crisis Worker. Prior to all of my social work experience I served as a paid paramedic. I have also been an active volunteer fire fighter for over twenty years. Currently, I run my own company and serve as a Public Safety Consultant and Grant Writer. I am also the Northern Regional Procurement Counselor for WV RCAC PTAC and the Proposal Manager for Fusion Technologies. My passion and dissertation pursuits are focused on the longevity of field paramedics and compassion fatigue in emergency service care providers. I have studied extensively in this area and look forward to sharing my experiences with you. In my free time, I am a world traveler and have spent time in Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America with much desire to go back soon. I am an avid reader of criminal investigative and sci-fi crime books. I am an active firefighter, scuba diver, author and a municipal judge. I love spending time with my husband, kids, family and friends.
