Scharbrenia Lockhart, EdD

Upon graduating from Florida A & M University, I attended graduate school at Troy State University. I obtained my Master's and Specialist Degree in Education Administration at Troy State. I graduated with an Ed.D in Education Administration from Georgia Southern University. Graduating with my doctoral degree was a remarkable feeling. I was excited to have accomplished such a momentous task! Additionally, I was proud to become the first doctorate degree recipient in my family tree history. I have 24 years of experience as a public school educator. For the past 25 years, I have served in a variety of positions ranging from substitute teacher to school administrator. I have 13 years experience as a school administrator, and currently I am a principal at an elementary school located in metro Atlanta. In addition, I have worked at UOPX as a course facilitator since 2008, and I have served as a dissertation chair for almost 5 years. I really enjoy the career path I have chosen. I live in the metro Atlanta area. Specifically, I live in Lake Spivey, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Life in Lake Spivey, Georgia is very peaceful and somewhat country. We are known for our beautiful trees and flowers. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband. We Love to travel, and spend time with our family.
