Ronald G. Leach, PhD

Dr. Leach completed a BA degree from Central Michigan University in Secondary Education with a History major and a Library Science minor. After two years teaching high school students he changed his focus and completed a MLS degree in Library Science from the University of Michigan and began a career in higher education. While engaged in leadership roles Dr. Leach completed a PhD in Higher Education Administration and Leadership at Michigan State University. Dr. Leach has held administrative leadership positions and faculty positions in four different universities, the latest being at Indiana State University. Leadership positions held at Indiana State University included Dean of Library Services, Assistant Provost for Information Services and he served as Professor of Higher Education Leadership in the Department of Educational Administration, Leadership and Foundations within the School of Education. Dr. Leach returned to the faculty full-time and assisted in the development of a new PhD program in Higher Education Administration and Leadership that was delivered as a hybrid distance education program to develop scholar practitioners. He currently teaches in the University of Phoenix’s Higher Education Administration doctoral program and mentors students developing their dissertation. Dr. Leach has contributed to his profession by publishing, presenting, and serving.
