Robert Harris, PhD, MS, PMP, MOT

Currently, Robert is the Campus College Chair-School of Business. He earned a Ph.D. degree in Organization Development from Benedictine University. Additionally, he earned his Master of Science in Marketing Communication from Roosevelt University and Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University. His certificates include Project Management Professional (PMP), Telecommunication Management, Master On-Line Teaching, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation. Robert has contributed to the Business and Management literature with his book, book chapters, scholarly articles as well as academic conference presentations. His 2016 publication will appear in Chapman University’s Journal of Business Management regarding leadership and teams. In 2014, Bethel New Life Community Development Corporation (CDC) published a Chicago Westside Economic Development research white paper co-authored by Robert. In 2013, his co-authored book, Extraordinary Leadership, was published by Edward Elgar Publishing. He presented his scholarly works in The Academy of Management’s international conferences (Lyon, France, 2012; Johannesburg, South Africa, 2013) and national conferences (San Antonio, TX, 2010). Besides his scholarly work, Robert has taught Marketing and First Year Sequence courses for University of Phoenix Chicago Campus since February 2010. Robert has over 20 years of experience managing people, processes, and new business development solutions. He directed profit and non-profit projects with values ranging from less than $100k to over $100 million dollars. Among others, he worked for IBM, H/P, and AT&T as Regional Product Manager, Realogy Corporation–Coldwell Banker as Broker Manager-Franchise Sales Director, Weichert Real Estate Affiliates as Business Development Consultant.
