Renee Hall, PhD

Renee S. Hall is a three- time graduate of the University of New Orleans (Louisiana). She earned her Doctorate in Higher Education Administration in 2006. Her dissertation, entitled Voices Behind Bars: Correctional Education from the Perspective of the Prisoner Student, won the Distinguished Dissertation Award in 2007 (UNO). The publication that was derived from this dissertation appears in the December 2008 edition of the Journal of Correctional Education. Hall currently works as an Adminstrator of a for-profit college in the Metropolitan New Orleans area. Additionally, Hall serves as Committee Member and Committee Chair for doctoral students at the University of Phoenix. Hall has also served as Committee Chair for doctoral students at the University of New Orleans. Hall's interests include Women in Higher Education, Correctional Education, Curriculum Development, Distance Education, Technology Integration in Education, and Diversity in Higher Education.
