Raymond Delaney Jr., DM, MS
Dr. Raymond M. Delaney Jr. has worked in the criminal justice field approximately 16 years in government, public, and nonprofit organizations. Dr. Delaney’s research agenda surrounds criminal justice, community corrections and correctional leadership, with a special interest in special needs offenders. He supports #Autism. He is an associate faculty member in the College of Security and Criminal Justice, with the University of Phoenix. Additional academic endeavors includes teaching as a an assistant professor of criminal justice with Southern University at New Orleans, and an Adjunct Professor with Dillard University. He regularly teaches diverse subjects in criminal justice, courses includes, but not limited to, Introduction to Corrections, and Mental Health and Crisis Intervention in Criminal Justice. Dr. Delaney earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Southern University at New Orleans, and a Doctorate of Management and Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, School of Advanced Studies. Dr. Delaney is the President and CEO of a nonprofit, “Louisiana Coalition for Offender Resources (LaCOR),” and Founder and Owner of Empowerment by Light, LLC, a consultant firm.
