Ramona Phillips, Ed.D.
I am an advocate for ethical principal leadership, school vision, process assessment, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and inciting educators and school administrators to use evidence-based instructional practices within K-12 and higher education systems. I currently serve as Research Team Member for the Compassion Fatigue Research Group for the Center for Education and Instructional Technology Research and Associate Faculty for the College of Education for the University of Phoenix. I’ve spent a total of six years as Lead Instructor of ABE/GED, and General Education Diploma/Adult Basic Education III Instructor in the Pre-College Education Division at Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
I have more than 23 years in the field of education as a middle and high school educator, school administrator, and higher education basic skills instructor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Houston, Texas. As a school administrator, I’ve had the privilege to serve as AdvancED Accreditation Chair, Lead Evaluator, and team member interacting with the public, private, charter, and parochial schools throughout the state of Wisconsin.
