Paula Young, EdD

Dr. Young has been an educator for more than thirty years. Armed with a doctorate in Educational Administration and Masters in Public Administration, she has served as administrator and faculty in higher education and K-12. She has served in roles from Director of Research to Assistant Professor to Vice President in an effort to make a difference in the community. Further, she has founded a nonprofit for caregivers to address the need for them to become educated on the caregiver process, and to help caregivers maintain healthy lifestyles while caring for others. She seeks to conduct research in the area of educating adults in comparison to educating children. Long-term goals are to pursue research on the effective strategies in adult learning.
