Maryse Nazon, Psy.D.

Maryse Nazon, Psy.D., CADC, MISA I Biography Dr. Maryse Nazon is a psychotherapist, consultant, coach, professor and trainer. She holds a Master of Divinity and a Doctoral degree in Psychology and is a certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC) and Mental Health Substance Abuse Specialist (MISA I). She is currently a senior faculty at the University of Phoenix in Chicago and the Alcohol and Other Drug of Abuse (AODA) Certification Program Coordinator at Chicago State University. She is also a minister. She has over 33 years of experience in the mental health field and has worked in corrections, child welfare, and mental health fields. She has concurrent experiences in management positions of non for profit organizations as well as consultation and training. Dr. Nazon is experienced in providing a variety of mental health services, auditing and accreditation procedures, grant writing and proposals. Dr. Nazon is adept at coordinating and supervising services offered at residential programs in correctional and child welfare facilities including supervising clinical staff and students. She has helped organizations developed training and employee manuals, and prepared for audit and accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation (COA).Dr. Nazon conducts seminars and workshops on a variety of psychological, spiritual and organizational related topics. She is passionate about helping people reach their full potential.
