Mary Jo Brinkman, Ph.D.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from College of Saint Mary, Omaha, NE. I received a Master of Arts degree from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant, MI. Finally, I received a Ph.D. in Health Science/Health Care Administration from University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR. Initially in my career I worked as a Medical Technologist for St. Luke's Hospital and Veterans Administration Hospital in Kansas City, MO. I also worked as a Medical Technologist for Physician Office Groups in Norfolk, NE. I began my career in Quality Management as the Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Coordinator at a hospital in Nebraska. After 13 years, I was promoted to the Assistant Administrator at a hospital in Arkansas. Now I am the Facility Compliance Officer, Privacy Office and Director of Risk Management. I have certifications as follows: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) American Society Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
