Linda Gutsch, PhD
My name is Dr. Linda J. Gutsch. I have been working with the University of Phoenix for over 10 years and wear “many hats” in my roles with UOP. In addition to serving as a dissertation chair and committee member for doctoral students in the School of Advanced Studies, I also teach online courses in the Masters in Educational Administration program, serve as faculty supervisor for student teachers, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert in helping to revise and write curriculum for the College of Ed at the University of Phoenix. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Kansas State University, and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, and a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver. I have enjoyed a long career as a K-12 teacher and an elementary school principal. I’ve also led staff development for school districts and worked as a consultant in the areas of adult learning, collaboration and professional learning communities. Professional highlights include being selected as a Fulbright Memorial Scholar to Japan, doing a principal exchange in Queenstown, New Zealand, presenting at the International Education Conference at Oxford University in England and serving as the elementary school principal at terrific elementary schools in Kansas and Colorado. I am a lifelong learner and I look forward to increasing my knowledge and skills through my continued work with the University of Phoenix so that I may better serve the students I am privileged to work with.
