Lee Burnham, Ph.D.

Dr. T. Lee Burnham has worked with families, schools and troubled teens for over 40 years. He is a licensed psychologist, a high school counselor and is well known for his work with and success with teens who have needed help in getting their life on track. He maintains an active private practice as a psychologist for a wide range of individual, marriage and family issues. Dr. Burnham has been a faculty member at the University of Minnesota, Brigham Young University, University of Utah, Utah State University, Salt Lake Community College and is currently a faculty member at the Utah Campus of the University of Phoenix in Mental Health Counseling as well as the University of Phoenix Online School of Advanced Studies in the Doctor of Management and Business Administration programs. He has served as Education and Family Life Commissioner in the PTA at both the state and local levels and has been involved in community programs to provide meaningful programs to enhance the growth and development of youth and children. One of his major goals is to prevent problems rather than wait around for them to occur. His book A Parent Toolkit for Success with Children is aimed to help parents create a more positive learning environment in the home.
