Kewal Verma, MTech, Ph.D.

In last 16 years, in addition to training faculty for teaching CMGT/575; I have taught PHL/700R, SEM/700R, DOC/796R, DOC/722, BUS/721, COM/705, DOC/721R, DOC/733, DOC/734, DOC/789, DOC/798, MGT/565, MGT585, and CMGT/575 courses for School of Advanced Studies, School of Business Management, and IS&T. I have mentored doctoral students in their dissertation research in the DM, DBA, DHA, and DE degree programs. Teaching for me is a natural way to give something back and continue my learning process. My formal education includes PhD and MS degrees in Ceramic Science from SUNY, Alfred University, Alfred, NY. My MTech (Master of Technology) and BTech (Bachelor of Technology) degrees in Metallurgical Engineering are from Indian Institute of Technology, India. I have published on a variety of diverse technical and management subjects, such as benchmarking, outsourcing, strategic management tools, and advanced VLSI and VHSIC chip carrier packages. My affiliations include several national and international technical and professional organizations. Some of these are AEE, IMAPS, SEMI, TiE, and PMI. I am a Life Senior member of IEEE. My 30+ years of broad base experience includes technical and management positions at various companies in the US electronics industry. My two consulting companies, BCA International (BCAI) and Nanotechnology International (NANOTECH) offer consulting services to the Hi-tech industries in project and program management, outsourcing, benchmarking, competitive analysis, supplier selection, and identification of strategic partners for business or technology alliance development.
