Kathleen Hargiss, PhD

Kathleen M. Hargiss is the former Associate Dean of Academics and Chair for the Graduate School of Business (MBA) at Florida Metropolitan University. In 2003 she received the FMU Graduate Research Grant to design and implement a Web Based Instructor Orientation. Until recently, Dr. Hargiss was involved with Tampa-based Strategic Resources conducting preliminary venture capitalist research, due diligence and feasibility studies. In the 1990s, Dr. Hargiss was a professor at both the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa. Currently Dr. Hargiss is Vice President Pacific Sunrise Development, S.A., Costa Rica. Other professional undertakings included published author and scholarship recipient from Northwestern University. Educationally, Dr. Hargiss earned a PhD. - University of South Florida where she also completed Post Doctoral studies in Technology, MBA - University of Miami – International Business, M.A. - Northwestern University (where she instructed for several years) Post Graduate studies - Stockholm, Sweden, B.A. - University of Illinois-Chicago, and the University of Chicago – Internship
