Karyn Scott, BA, MSW, MAED, EdD

Karyn Hawkins-Scott has earned four degrees: BA, MSW, MAED and EdD. She has been active in the field of education for 18 years. Dr. Scott has been a school Administrator for over 15 years and an Associate Faculty for University of Phoenix since 2008. She has written a book to guide others with coping with unexpected life challenges. She has also prepared and presented multiple research based trainings over the years focusing on current trends in education. Dr. Scott is a certified Early Childhood Trainer conducting research based workshops for professionals in the field of early childhood. In Preparation, Dr. Scott is working on her second book entitled, "The Power Within" and Research Project entitled: "Strategies to support teachers in an inclusion classroom to address social emotional and behavior student needs".
