Professionally, I am a higher education administrator with more than 8 years of progressive experience in leadership, enrollment management, student affairs, policy, and academic affairs. I have conducted research on underrepresented populations, retention, transfer students, diversity, higher education policy, and STEM programs. My administrative experience in higher education has ranged from leading admissions recruitment teams, to working with Veterans populations, to overseeing Enrollment Management units. I enjoy teaching and have had the pleasure to instruct graduate courses covering Critical Issues in Student Affairs, Contemporary Issues in Higher Education, and Enrollment Management and Marketing. I have also taught undergraduate courses for student taking Freshman Seminars and Interpersonal Communications courses. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts and Mass Communications minor from the University of Georgia. I earned my Masters Degree from Troy University and Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership-Higher Education from Mercer University. Colleagues would describe me as an energetic, passionate, problem solver. I thrive on helping others and have served on many committees, teams, and with professional organizations committed to access to higher education. From 2012- 2014, I served as President for the Georgia Higher Education Alliance (GAHEA) and was able to help coordinate more than 70 college and education fairs around the state of Georgia during that time.
