Juanita Marquez, M. Ed., ATC, LAT
Educational Background
I received my Bachelors degree in Athletic Training with a minor in US History from the University of New Mexico in 2008 and began working as a High School Athletic Trainer immediately following graduation. I decided that I wanted to become an educational administrator in the state of New Mexico and change the educational system that currently ranks 50th in the United States. I obtained my Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2014. I am currently enrolled in the Ed.D. program with University of Phoenix and I am working to obtain my doctorate degree in Educational leadership. By trade I am a High School Athletic trainer and would like to be able to link athletics and leadership in the high school educational setting.
