Joseph B. Baugh, Ph.D.
Dr. Joseph B. Baugh earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Arizona and his MBA degree at the Eller Graduate School of Management, University of Arizona. His Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a Specialization in Leadership was conferred by Capella University. He is a faculty member at Cochise College, the University of Arizona, and the University of Phoenix teaching information technology, leadership, and business courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. He serves as a dissertation chair and committee member at the University of Phoenix, where he also teaches in the School of Advanced Studies in the Doctor of Business Administration and Doctor of Management programs. Dr. Baugh has presented papers and professional development workshops in North America and Europe to international audiences on various topics at venues such as the Academy of Management annual conferences, Academy of Management International Conferences and Doctoral Consortiums, as well as many other academic and professional conferences in the United States.
Complementing his academic qualifications, Dr. Baugh holds a number of globally recognized project management and information security credentials including the PMP, ITIL, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and NSA-IEM certifications. As the President and CEO of Baugh Group LTD, he provides information security consulting services, is an experienced technical instructor, and teaches certification exam preparation classes. He is a member of industry organizations including PMI, ISC^2, ISACA, and ISSA. Well-grounded in the business community, Dr. Baugh blends theory with practical application to facilitate learning by the working adult student.
