John Tharp, Ed.D.

25 years of experience in public education in diverse school districts. Broad experience in organizing and leading schools and districts that support staff and personalize education for each student. Developer of inquiry-based lessons that make learning relevant for students, are academically rigorous and result in the development of reasoned thinkers as well as closed achievement gaps. A book, "Breaking the Cycle of Failed School Reform," 2008, has ideas on how to avoid the predictable pitfalls in school reform.
