Jeanie Bachand, EdD, MSN, RN
My name is Jeanie Bachand and I have been a nurse for many years and enjoy working with students as they advance their education. My clinical practice focus was neuroscience for most of my career as a staff nurse, educator, and nurse manager. My undergraduate education was at Salve Regina University, my graduate degree in nursing administration is from the University of Rhode Island, and my doctorate in Higher Education Leadership is from Johnson and Wales University.
I lived in New England for many years but now reside in south-central Pennsylvania in Amish country near Hershey. I have two children and three grandchildren. My daughter and son live in Rhode Island and my son, his wife, son and daughter live in New Mexico. Due to this, I travel frequently to visit all of them and teaching online allows me to do so.
