Jean-Mari Hillebrand, D.B.A.

Dr. Jean-Mari Hillebrand, D.B.A. earned her doctorate in Business Administration (Business Management) from the University of Phoenix in 2014. Other degrees include: a master's degree in Business Administration (Management) from the University of Hull (United Kingdom); Honors B Com. with a specialization in Financial Management; and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Business Economics and Private Law from the University of South Africa. She is an accomplished educator with 20 years’ experience in teaching business courses at both undergraduate and graduate level. Awards include: The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) region 8 Best Paper 2016 award; International Delta Mu Delta Honor Society award for high academic achievement in Business Administration (DBA GPA 3.95); Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) region 8 teaching excellence award; UAE Educational IT Challenge Finalist award; and Zayed University E-Biz Challenge II, E-business Plan, Faculty Advisor award. Before entering academics, Jean-Mari had a successful career in business.
