Janice Terrell, Ed.D.

Dr. Terrell’s professional experience includes more than 20 years of organizational leadership experience in education and in the healthcare and financial services industries. Dr. Terrell has served in administrative leadership and instructional roles at colleges and universities in Illinois, Maine, Florida and North Carolina, in addition to 10 years of experience as an online faculty member and doctoral research mentor at the University of Phoenix. She has also served as a professional consultant to various business, education and governmental organizations. Her responsibilities have included university and faculty leadership, development and coordination of strategic planning processes, institutional research, resource development, institutional effectiveness, leadership development, and professional and organizational development. She has successfully coached people in achieving both their personal and professional goals and has worked with international clients seeking to strengthen organizational leadership, and design and implement quality improvement, planning and benchmarking strategies. Dr. Terrell holds a doctorate in higher education leadership from the University of Central Florida, a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Maine, a bachelors’ degree in visual arts from Illinois State University.
