Guy Stillwell Smith, DBA, MBA, MRICS

Graduated from University of Phoenix School of Advanced Studies in February 2017 with a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA). Focus of research was collaborative leadership in the context of carbon sequestration in Alberta, Canada. Retired from the government of Alberta in 2015 after a 42 year career in the field of institutional property development, most recently with an emphasis on school and post-secondary facilities. Future research will be in the dual fields of environmental economics and collaborative leadership. I hope to investigate how collaborative leadership may be brought to bear on the various stakeholders in climate change mitigation to ensure a balance between environmental sustainability and economic sustainability.
