Erik Bean, Ed.D
Erik's research interest focus on teacher immediacy and customer experience (CX) of students and faculty. He offers a full-range of administrative leadership, employee, facilitator, research, curriculum development, and technical governance solutions for the proprietary, corporate, or traditional education markets including accreditation compliance. Erik also has nearly 20 years of teaching experience both on-site and online in the humanities, film, mass media, technical and professional writing, and English composition. He began teaching at University of Phoenix in 1997. Erik is a professional speaker and author of three peer reviewed 2014 and 2015 books: WordPress for Student Writing Projects, published by Brigantine Media, St. Johnsbury, VT, Rigorous Grading Using Microsoft Word AutoCorrect: Plus Google Docs, Westphalia Press imprint of the Policy Studies Organization, Washington, D.C. and his latest 2015 book, Social Media Writing Lesson Plans. His latest book chapter is entitled, Benchmark Academy Study Ties Customer Experience to Emotional Branding: A University of Phoenix Center for Leadership Studies and Educational Research Assessment within the international IGI book Driving Customer Appeal Through the Use of Emotional Branding, 2018. Finally, Erik was appointed section editor, Leadership Perspectives, Journal of Leadership Studies, Fall 2017.
