Eileen Coughlin, MPA, SPHR

Eileen is a faculty member for the School of Business for the Bay Area Campus. Her tenure as faculty began in 2005 and includes HR and healthcare management. She was tasked with curriculum development for the HR certificate program. She works with faculty and Academic Affairs staff to provide quality education. Formerly, as Senior Training & Development Specialist for O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, she provided learning opportunities, associate satisfaction survey management and New Employee Orientation training. As the Manager of Training and Education for California Pacific Medical Center and Saint Luke’s Hospital, Eileen provided HR consulting, supervision, management, training, and customer service. She assisted organizations with performance improvement, curriculum design, training deployment, corporate education plans and staff development. As a specialist in HR consulting, Eileen provided training in the areas of labor relations, performance improvement, conflict management, and communication. Some assignments included leadership academy development, orientations for employees and managers, customer surveys analysis for staff and career development. She administered the on line education compliance program, nursing preceptor skills, and logistics for celebratory events. Eileen believes in our mission to change the lives of my students their families and future generations through higher education.
