Doreen McGunagle, Ph.D.

Personal: Dr. McGunagle is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide, Doctoral Faculty with University of Phoenix and Walden University. Dr. McGunagle is CEO of Global Strategic Management Solutions. Education: Dr. McGunagle completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Florida Atlantic University, MBA from Nova Southeastern University, and Ph.D. in Organization & Management with a Specialization in International Business from Capella University. Organizations: Dr. McGunagle is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR). Awards and Experience: Dr. McGunagle has worked as an organizational development consultant. She has helped organizations get to the root causes in performance breakdowns that show up readily in the balance sheet and beyond. Her research interests are those that will make a positive impact to an organization or community. She has authored and co-authored articles which have appeared in numerous journals. Her books include “The Chinese Auto Industry: Taming the Dragon” and “Good Boss Bad Boss: Lessons from Effective and Not So Effective Managers.” Dr. McGunagle has taught Marketing, Strategy, International Business, Organizational Behavior, Research Methods, and she has chaired a number of students on their dissertations. Interests: Dr. McGunagle serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Area Agency on Aging, which is the gateway for Medicare reform in Florida.
