Dr. Dena Bateh
I am currently a full-time Professor of Management & International Business in New York City. In addition to teaching International Trade and Marketing, my areas of expertise also include Business Strategy, Model United Nations and Organizational Behavior. I obtained both my B.A. and M.B.A. from Jacksonville University (Florida) and my Ph.D. International Economics from Columbia University completing my doctoral dissertation on Healthcare Improvement in Third World Countries- A Focus on Egypt.
Prior to becoming a professor, I worked extensively in the Pharmaceutical Industry focusing on cardiovascular health. I am also the co-founder of the American-Egyptian Aid Foundation, a United Nations NGO. Other than teaching and working with the NGO, I devote my time to scholarship, currently in the area of Globalization and Healthcare Technology.
My husband and I have two wonderful sons, ages 15 and 16; and I enjoy spending time with my family. Some activities that I enjoy are playing the piano, cooking, swimming, tennis, and power walks in the city.
