Directory & Faculty Profiles

David Heflich, PhD

Since returning from my years teaching computer science at an international school in Quito, Ecuador I have completed a doctoral program and presented research at the University of Alabama. I accepted a position on the faculty of the College of Education at UNLV. There I wrote papers, and grants, as well a presented research at various conferences. I left UNLV and worked as a technology trainer for a community college and as the author of a deputy director of a Broadband Technology Opportunity Program grant for the Las Vegas Urban League. I left that when the grant ended in January 2013. I began working with the University of Phoenix in 2001 and with Nova Southeastern University in 2002. I currently work with doctoral students at both schools and support myself as a technology consultant and contract instructional designer
