Cynthia J. Davies, Ph.D., SPHR

Dr. Cynthia Davies has extensive experience in assessing and identifying human capital needs then implementing creative solutions in the profit, non-profit, private, public and international sectors in consulting, energy, high technology, insurance, finance, telecommunications, public accounting, and education. Noted as a transformational Human Resources leader, she has successfully built, restructured, and directed Human Resources practices in high growth businesses. She is experienced in all functional areas of Talent Management as well as strategic marketing and sales of Human Capital Management software. Dr. Davies has served as Director of Human Resources, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition for Fortune 100 organizations and major companies in the greater Delaware Valley including: DuPont, NRGenergy, AT&T (Lucent Technologies), Travelers, Software AG, SAS, PNC, Parente Beard, LLC and CoreStates Bank (Independence Bancorp). She holds a BA in Business and Management from DeSales University, a MBA with Marketing and Finance concentrations from Wilkes University and a Ph.D. in Organizational Development from Temple University. She has achieved the professional designation of SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources). She currently is an Adjunct Professor at University of Phoenix Online where she mentors doctoral candidates during their dissertation process and at Rutgers University where she teaches in the School of Business-Management and Global Business.
