Christina Godard is an Adjunct Faculty Member for University of Phoenix and Bay Path University. In addition to her work with prospective doctoral students at UOPX, she teaches general education and special education courses. She is a Pennsylvania certified teacher in the areas of K-8 reading, K-12 special education, K-8 elementary education, and 7-12 English. She earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Lock Haven University. Her master's degree, also from Lock Haven University, is in Teaching and Learning (curriculum and instruction). She received her Doctorate in Education from Capella University in Educational Leadership. Her interest in research is in the area of instructional approaches, including the online modality, intervention approaches, education for students with disabilities, and the effects of school law on teaching and learning. She teaches in the College of Education and has been with UOP since 2009.
