Charles A von Urff, Ph.D.

Dr. von Urff has a BEE degree from NYU, An MSE degree from Princeton, and a Ph.D. degree in O&M, focusing on Telemedicine. Dr. von Urff has been teaching for UOP for over 22 years and teaches in both the School of Business, and the College of IS&T. He has taught at all three levels in UOP. Dr. von Urff has also taught for 4 years in the online Ph.D. program at Capella University. Dr. von Urff was the CCC for the College of IS&T at the SoCal campus, he has been an Area Chair, a CFAL, and a member of the ABET certification team. He has also been extensively involved in curriculum development. Dr. von Urff has an extensive list of publications and presentations. Outside of academia, Dr. von Urff has over 35 years of Executive Management (C level) experience in public and private companies in the Semiconductor, High Performance Computer and Telecommunications industries. His industry experience includes over 25 years of Executive level, International Business management experience.
