Carla Gull, EdD, works full-time with the College of General Studies at the University of Phoenix, teaching beginning online students, conducting classroom reviews, and working on special projects such as assessment and diversity. With prior experience as an elementary teacher, Carla Gull holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education, a master's degree in curriculum and instruction, and a doctorate in instructional leadership. In addition, she does academic research on tree climbing, outdoor classrooms, and loose parts. She hosts the podcast, Loose Parts Nature Play, and the Facebook group, Loose Parts Play. She loves the outdoors and works to inspire and encourage educators and families to get outside and experiment.
