Andrew L. Maus, DBA

I live in Phoenix Arizona with my wife of 14 years. I grew up in AZ and at age 18 I joined the Marine Corps and left the state/country. After five years and three deployments, I left the Marines and continued my education. I grew fast in the business world. I was in management for about 6 years, and currently I have moved into a junior executive role and am gaining valuable experiences and knowledge of executive-level organizational leadership. I started attending classes here at UOPX as a student when I was on active duty in the Marines simply because online college was the only option at the time. I liked the online setting so well that even though I could have gone to a local school's campus here at home now that I'm long out of the service, I stuck with UOPX online. I earned a BS degree in business online after getting out of the service, as well as a MBA at the local Phoenix campus location. I also finished the DBA (Doctorate) program in 2018 and am excited about what the future holds. I teach online classes here at UOPX, and I'm the Associate Dean of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) as well. I'm personally interested in real-estate. Specifically, the rental housing market. I also like anything active. I'm a runner, mountain biker, and weight lifter. Also a sports fan, love the AZ Cardinals!
