Age as a predictor of student success and community college technical certificate programs.


This study uses predictive analytics in the form of a binary logistic regression. The student demographic of age is used to determine the probability of earning a technical certificate from a major community college located in the Midwest. Multiple age groups are compared to the baseline or traditional age group of students who between the ages of 16 and 21.
