This 2-hour practitioner workshop is designed to share practical simple steps of how the presenter turned a personal research agenda into peer-reviewed journal articles, textbooks, ebooks, training courses, and other non-academic published vehicles. This workshop contains step-by-step processes followed by the presenter that can easily be duplicated by attendees.

Outcomes

All members of the academic community can benefit from this workshop. This session includes an easy to duplicate example of how to collect and convert qualitative information into a quantitative Likert-type survey that can be used to collect data for analysis. Attendees will gain an understanding about applying a sound and systematic approach for turning one’s research agenda into financially profitable outcomes that can be easily duplicated.

Additionally, attendees will learn how social media was applied to different aspects of authoring and promoting published content. Those attending will gain insights of the application of open source learning management systems as a vehicle to provide online training and educational programs serving a world-wide audience. Attendees will leave with an understanding of how to repurpose content for different vehicles ultimately creating multiple stream income from an original research project.
