An Introduction to Decision-based Learning Webinar

Greetings,

We would like to invite both faculty and students to join our special Webinar session entitled “An Introduction to Decision-based Learning,” offered by Dr. Kenneth Plummer and his colleagues at Brigham Young University (BYU).

Decision-based Learning (DBL), a teaching methodology developed by researchers at BYU, organizes instruction around the decision-making process experts engage in while tackling real-world problems. Students taught using this approach have shown a higher degree of practical or functional abilities than what you find in traditional courses. To further learn about DBL you may see this brief video.

Join this session to further learn about this approach and how to apply it in your courses. A brief introduction to Decision Based Learning approach and software will be provided with Q & A to follow. To further learn about DBL you may see this brief video.

When:  April 25, 2019, 4:00- 5:00 PM Phoenix, AZ Time/7-8 pm Eastern Time Zone.
