Faculty Scholarship Showcase
February 5, 2016 - Livermore Learning Center, 6-8 p.m.
Celebrating scholarly achievements of our faculty every year is one of the most important events that we host.
Faculty scholarship is tantamount to academic quality and continuous growth and development of a university’s faculty. Moreover, scholarship is the evidence that keeps faculty tied to the broader academic community and connects them with additional faculty at the university.
This is open call for faculty presenters. We seek work that fits into any of Boyer’s four domains of scholarship: Discovery, Application, Integration, and Teaching and Learning. Broadly speaking, current faculty/staff, doctoral students, recent doctoral graduates, as well as conference presenters, workplace innovation projects, creative and fictional works, and newly created curriculum, lesson plans, or classroom activities that add value to teaching and learning are welcome and strongly encouraged to participate. If you know of a student who could present, please help us connect with them. We are opening this event to students as well.
If you have a current or recent scholarly (or creative) work that you would like to present at this year’s event, please contact one of us no later than December 14th, 2015, to secure your place at our event.
