CoPE® (Coaching Professional Education)

CoPE® (Coaching Professional Education)

All three projects listed for research are ongoing. That is, they constitute articles about to be published or more articles forthcoming. Specifically: 1. CoPE® (Coaching Professional Education) was approved by PA last year at the date indicated (above) as CEU training for counselors, psychologists, parole and health administrators. It is currently in the Pilot project phase. Further, it was approved by the TN State Dept. of Corrections just a few months ago and will incorporate a section on women’s issues. It is growing and expanding to include caregivers, such as psychologists, lay persons in the church and other persons in the community wishing to partner with the program to ensure successful re-entry into society. 2. Marriage and Family Web page is still a work in progress. That is, the section for those whose loved one might be experiencing incarceration is a relatively new category. This three-part series provides specific information, answers to difficult questions and resources for both leaders and families in the community. The first article (already posted here) should be available, along with two more, sometime near year's end. 3. The Truth about Prisons is an unpublished manuscript that describes the politics, social structure, culture and challenges within the prison system. The book is designed to provide a candid historical to present overview of costs, security, rehabilitation and politics involved.
