If You're Not Leading, You're Not Teaching: Practices of a Master Online Classroom Leader

In Part I, Dr. Ledbetter reviews findings from her national study about the online leadership practices of top distance learning instructors in higher education. She examines the practices of trusting students, building rapport, coaching, mentoring, dialoguing, teamwork, role modeling, meaningful feedback, and incorporating real-life experiences. In Part II, Dr. Ledbetter shares her personal online classroom leadership model, which can be implemented by any online instructor aspiring to be a master online classroom leader.
