Researchers from the University of Phoenix will represent UOP at the annual Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) conference on November 6-11, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida.

University Research Center Chair, Dr. Mansureh Kebritchi, and Research Fellow, Dr. Susan Ferebee, have been invited to guest edit a special issue in the International Journal of Conceptual Structures and Smart Applications.
"Online Dissertation Chairs’ Perceptions: Reflective Mentoring Practices and Changing Student Cross Cultural and Generational Worldviews", has been accepted for publication at SAGE OPEN.
Dr. Libi Shen has three recent publications. The first publication was based on a research project with her student, Dr. Larry Austin. The second publication was based on her student, Dr. Germaine Washington, dissertation. The third publication was based on a collaborative research with one of her UOPX colleagues, Dr. Irene L Chen.

The book entitled “Culture, Learning, and Technology: Research and Practice” addresses different topics related to how culture, learning, and technology influence education at all levels.
The agreement is between the School of Advanced Studies, University of Phoenix and the Carolina Biological Supply Company.
CEITR fellow, Dr. Marianne Justus, published her article based on her CEITR fellowship project at The Qualitative Report on February 2017.
They were accepted to present their study of “Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Management: Application, Current and Future Trends.”
The presentations created an opportunity for large audiences to understand findings that contributed to the current situation of e-learning and distance education and the new trends in digital technologies use and applications.
A group of CEITR members including Dr. Mansureh Kebritchi (the center chair), Dr. Alicia Holland (the center fellow), Dr. Jean Plough, and Dr. Patricia Akojie attended The Qualitative Report conference last month.
